//The Self-Portrait Project
I am the creator and administrator of the Self-Portrait Project. The Self-Portrait Project is a visual archive project whose mission is to empower people in the creation of their own images; it does this using a two-way mirror and remote control. By making model & photographer one and the same, the project is a novel recreation of the photographic act.
Recent clients include ideeli, Amazon.com, Mondani handbags, and Arrojo Studio
Andy grew up shooting with his father's old Kodak Instamatic 110 camera, taking his first shots at 8 years old of pigeons at a zoo. He's since graduated to more sophisticated equipment + subjects and puts his assets to work primarily taking pictures of people and places. He has assisted and learned from prominent photographers such as Richard Phibbs, Gray Scott, Rames Xelhuantzi, Ellinor Stigle, and Raymond Patrick. A National Geographic award winning photographer, Andy calls the Lower East Side of New York his home.
